• Do you have to put up with adverts in between songs (Spotify for FREE)
  • or pay a monthly fee to Spotify, Apple, Amazon etc.?

Using streaming services, the less likely you are to hear the original version songs you remember, what you often get streamed by Apple, Spotify, Amazon etc. are re-dubbed more-recent versions of older songs, that is not quite as you remember it. Am I right?

  • Do you want to listen your own music in the car or on the go?
  • Do you want to hear music you payed good money for many years ago from Audio CD, LP, even tape?
  • Do you want to hear music you have already saved in digital format to a USB thumb drive, hard-drive, computer or iPod?

Q – Where is the catch I hear you scream? How do iBroadcast stay in business and make money?

A – *You can stream your own music for FREE at a reduced quality bitrate of 128kbps or pay a fee for higher quality or lossless quality.

Q – What The? …. reduced quality!!!!… I wont be able to hear half the music?

A – Try the Free service first and see if the quality is acceptable. As we get older our hearing deteriorates, so you may not even notice the difference.

But before we can upload music to iBroadcast you need to get the files of the Audio CD’s to a digital format such as .MP3

If your computer has a CD/DVD drive built in, your half way there, else you will need to purchase an external drive that plugs into a USB port.

Transferring music from CD to .MP3 is called “Ripping” and most media players support it. For a comprehensive tutorial on the subject got the following site

A step-by-step guide to uploading and streaming your own music on iBroadcast

If you have thousands of tracks to upload, the process could take days and then you may not be happy with the quality of the service, so we suggest just uploading a few songs and then test the quality. If happy with the results, repeat the process to add the remaining tracks.

We initially have to setup a free account by going to https://ibroadcast.com/create/

Check your email and click the “Verify Email” button

You should see a confirmation page

There will be 4 intro tracks shown but now is the time to add some sample songs of your own, click on the “Add Music” button

In the following screen, drag a few tracks to upload, click the button or select one of the free MediaSync Lite programs to suit your operating system

if using the program, you will be asked for the source of your files, select a folder or an individual track. To use the MediaSync Lite Program you will need to add your email address and password to start using it.

You may experience quite a while where nothing appears to be happening. The program needs to work out how many files you require uploading. When it does, you will be asked to confirm the upload

and the upload process will begin and the status will update until 100% complete.

This process can take many hours or many days depending on number of tracks and your internet speed.

Depending on number of files, process could take hours or days, eventually you will get a “Done” screen

Click “All Tracks” and select a track to play on your computer

You can now add the iBroadcast to your Phone to play your tracks in the car or on the go, find the app in the Apple App store or the Google Play store
