Can I upgrade to Windows 11?

PC’s, Laptops and Devices running Windows 10 have not been getting security updates since October 2025, when support ended.

28% of Australian Windows users are still using Windows 10 in January 2026 (Down from 36% in October) Is your device eligible for a free update to Windows 11?

What will likely happen the longer you stay with Windows 10:

  1. Your chances of being hacked or getting malware such as ransomeware will keep increasing
  2. Adding or re-adding devices such as keyboard, mouse, printers etc. will become increasingly difficult
  3. Adding or re-adding apps or programs will become increasingly difficult
  4. Banks and secure Government Websites (Centerlink, Medicare, etc) may stop working/connecting because of outdated and unsupported web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox etc)

These things are not going to happen overnight but the sooner you upgrade to Windows 11 or purchase a new Windows 11 device, the safer and more secure you will be.
