If you are eligible for the free upgrade it, we suggest you do so ASAP.
Even if you plan to purchase a new Windows 11 device, the best way of transferring all your data and programs to a new windows 11 device, is to upgrade to Windows 11, perform a full windows image backup, log into the new device and choose the restore option.

Fortunately, Microsoft provide full instructions on how to this this at the following link ….. as long as you have a Microsoft Account and plenty of icloud storage (as you get with a paid-membership of Office 365) … as you only get 5GB without 365.

Or you can put 3 to 8 hours of your life aside to move your data and reinstall programs and email accounts on a new Windows 11 device, manually.
Or employ someone like iTech WA to do it for you.
Although there is no official date set at the moment as to the availability of the FREE Windows 11 upgrade, the widely held belief is that it will end in 2026.
