Windows 11/Android Tablets
There are many, many Windows 11 tablets available at varying pricepoint. Just be careful to choose one that suits your needs. Some will run full Microsoft office, some only the free online version.
The most basic tablets are simply a touch screen. Others have a stylus and optional keyboard

Android tablets usually come from brands such as Samsung, Lenovo or Google
Small Tablets (10.1 inches or less): You can create, view, and edit documents for free with a standard Microsoft account.

Larger Tablets (Above 10.1 inches): To edit or create documents, you generally need a qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription.

Chromebooks
Chromebooks have no Microsoft Office Desktop apps, you cannot install the full desktop version of Office (e.g., Office 365/2024). But great value for money if only browsing sites and emailing

Windows 11 Tablets
Windows tablets running Wind0ws 11 home or Windows 11 Pro will run the full Microsoft Office suit. Beware of models running Windows 11 Home in S Mode, as these can only install Apps through the Microsoft Store and may even be locked-down, usually for use in schools.

Apple Tablets (iPad)
Think twice before moving from a Windows/Android device to an Apple iOS device. Apple iPads are recommended for those who use an iPhone as documents and photos are more easily editable and accessible.
